At BGCA our goal is to offer quality childcare programs that support families and children in our community to thrive. We offer three full-day programs for littles from infancy to school age, and seven out-of-school care (OSC) programs for children in grades K to Grade 5. We provide care at Tillicum Elementary School and Ecole Quadra/Quadra Elementary, with OSC programs on- and off-site for both locations. All childcare programs are licensed by Island Health and follow the Community Care and Assisted Living Act/Childcare Licensing Regulations.

We believe in providing a safe environment in which children will be guided and nurtured through their early and elementary years. The spaces we create will provide engaging, supportive environments that are reflective of the needs of the children and families we serve. We will support children to gain a sense of personal responsibility, independence, confidence, and encourage the development of a positive self-image. We respect the unique experiences of our families, and appreciate the trust they place in us to provide care and education for their children. It is of the utmost importance to have open communication and trusting relationships between children, staff and parents.
