Program Manager – Integrated Family Services

The Burnside Gorge Community Association is seeking a full-time Program Manager to lead our Integrated Family Services team. This postition will be responsible for providing leadership to staff of the following programs: Family Center (early childhood), C’Nex Intensive Parenting Program, Family Development, Youth Outreach & Youth Self Sufficiency (youth transitioning to adulthood), and the Homeless Family Outreach Program. This includes monitoring of program budgets, providing case reviews, ensuring reporting requirements are met and databases are complete, assist in grant or funding proposals, program development/assessment and promote agency in the community. The program manager must actively deal with challenging and complex cases to ensure a high level of professional, quality, and client focused service is provided. A thorough knowledge of child welfare system is essential. The program manager will be required to work closely with the Executive Director as part of BGCA’s Management Team. The program manager is also responsible for daily staff management, including hiring, financial accountability, performance evaluations and team relationship. This position also requires a high level of commitment to Burnside Gorge Community Association’s mission, values and best practices.

Family Service Worker

The Burnside Gorge Community Association is seeking a temporary full-time Family Service Worker to join our Integrated Family Services team on a 9-month contract (ending May 2023). This position provides direct support and service to parents and works with family situations of those with children under 12. The primary goal of this work is to reduce risks to children and strengthen family functioning.

Family Service Worker

Youth Service Worker

The Burnside Gorge Community Association is seeking a full time Youth Service Worker to join our team. Working as part of the Integrated Family Service Team, this position provides direct support to youth (12 to 21 years) and their families along the continuum of programs and services provided through Burnside Gorge Community Association (BGCA). This is an integrated position of two programs:

Youth and Family Outreach – The primary goal of this program is to strengthen youth (12-18 years) and family’s capacity and resiliency.

Youth Self Sufficiency – This program supports youth ages 17 – 21 in foster care, on Youth Agreements or with few family supports to transition successfully into adulthood.

Housing Outreach Worker

The Burnside Gorge Community Association is seeking a full time Housing Outreach worker to join our Integrated Family Service Team. The Housing Outreach Worker will work with homeless families or those facing homelessness to assist with finding or maintaining housing, ensuring the family’s well- being, and to promote family development.

Housing Outreach Worker

Supported Childcare Workers – Permanent

BGCA is seeking several part time Supported Childcare Workers to join our Childcare team and support the delivery of licensed Out of School Care programming. Supported Childcare Workers provide care to children with supported childcare needs to allow for inclusion in programming. This position also provides information and assistance to co-workers so that they can better support children with diverse abilities.

BGCA is seeking several part time Out of School Care Leaders to join our Child Care team and support the delivery of licensed programming. With support from the Manager, Leaders coordinate, plan and deliver a wide variety of age appropriate programs and activities for children 5-11 years of age.
