Housing Outreach Worker

The Burnside Gorge Community Association is seeking a full time Housing Outreach Worker to join the Family Services Team. The Housing Outreach Worker will work with homeless families or those facing homelessness to assist with finding or maintaining housing, ensuring the family’s well- being, and to promote family development.

BGCA is seeking a full time Out of School Care Manager to join our Child Care Services Team. The BOSC Manager oversees all aspects of Out of School Care programming at Burnside OSC including: enrollment, supervision of staff, program planning & delivery, and administration. As this program operates in a busy environment within shared spaces there is a strong focus on building positive, professional relationships with community partners and administration in addition to children and families, the broader BGCA team, and the general public.

TOSC Manager 2022

Youth Recreation Programmer

BGCA is seeking a full-time Youth Recreation Programmer (YRP) to join our Recreation team. This role works directly with youth to encourage and oversee engagement in recreation and youth programs provided by the Burnside Gorge Community Centre. The YRP plans, administers and delivers registered recreation programs and activities for youth and supports program registration and maintenance for both youth and community recreation offerings as required.

Youth Recreation Programmer

Supported Childcare Workers – Permanent

BGCA is seeking several part time Supported Childcare Workers to join our Childcare team and support the delivery of licensed Out of School Care programming. Supported Childcare Workers provide care to children with supported childcare needs to allow for inclusion in programming. This position also provides information and assistance to co-workers so that they can better support children with diverse abilities.

BGCA is seeking several part time Out of School Care Leaders to join our Child Care team and support the delivery of licensed programming. With support from the Manager, Leaders coordinate, plan and deliver a wide variety of age appropriate programs and activities for children 5-11 years of age.
