If you have an interest in social media and marketing, Burnside Boutique can also offer hands-on experience and training in this area. This is not a required part of the position, but it’s a great opportunity for anyone who’s passionate about social media and wants to build their skills.

Custodian Assistant

Under the direction of BGCA’s Custodian, the Custodian Assistant performs a variety of custodial services, including: indoor and outdoor cleaning duties; tracking and ordering cleaning supplies; evening lockdown procedures; tracking building maintenance issues and performing minor maintenance tasks; moving supplies and equipment; and assisting BGCA user groups and staff as needed.

Food Security and Program Support

Working under the direction of the Family Centre Coordinator, this position plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the Family Centre by managing food donations, organizing resources, and assisting with programs and seasonal initiatives. This role helps ensure families and community members have access to food, clothing, books, hygiene items, and special events that support their well-being.
